Our Mission
Starphire New Energy Technologies (Starphire.NET) is becoming a world leader in the design and
development of the 21st century’s clean, efficient,
decentralized energy technologies for the commercial, industrial, and
high-end residential markets. In
addition to energy efficiency analysis, design, and project management for
some of the world’s leading institutions, Starphire.NET provided the
energy systems design, recruited the technology providers, and integrated
the mobile, clean energy systems for New York City Earth Day 2000, Battery
Park City’s Seawall 2000 project, and the Environmental Grantmakers
Association’s annual meeting at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New
York.
Starphire.NET recognizes that electric generation is following
the same path as computers –energy is moving from large central facilities
(fossil fueled electric power stations) through more efficient mid-sized units
(micro-turbines and co-generation systems) to powerful individual Personal
Electric Power (PEP)
systems.
Starphire Net's current two projects are:
New Wind Energy. Starphire provides staffing and strategy development in New York State for Community Energy's marketing of clean energy supplies from wind-powered technology.
The Sustainable Business Alliance. Starphire provides technical and logistical staff support to the Sustainable Business Alliance to fulfill their mission of "uniting environmentally responsible companies in promoting economic and public policies that accelerate the effective use of comprehensive design solutions that incorporate more sustainable
products and services".
